GSI supplies grain equipment to Ukraine port facility

GSI recently provided grain handling and storage equipment to one of the largest agro holdings in Ukraine. Located at a port facility in central Ukraine, the project included 12 grain storage bins with complete GSI handling equipment (bucket elevators, chain conveyors and belt conveyors). The most recent project took 12 months to complete, but GSI has completed several projects for this customer, providing a total capacity of 300,000 tonnes. Each of the 12 bins has a storage capacity of 8,000 tonnes, a diameter of 22.86 meters, eave height of 21.18 meters and total height of 27.51 meters. Total capacity of the most recent project is 100,000 tonnes. The handling equipment capacity is 600 tph. The facility handles wheat, corn, barley, sunflower and rapeseed.
